Ducks Flip Offensive Line Transfer
Recruiting never ceases to amaze me. Last week Colorado made some noise with the addition of Indiana offensive line transfer Matthew Bedford. The 6-foot-6, 310-pounder was one of the more coveted offensive line transfer early in the portal.
Oregon had moved quickly with an offer but Colorado grabbed his early commitment. Until today.
Bedford ended up making an under-the-radar visit to Eugene this weekend which has resulted in his commitment to Oregon. He is the second transfer commit for the Ducks on Monday joining running back Jay Harris.
Bedford originally signed with Indiana as a part of its 2019 recruiting class.
Appeared in 29 career games with 28 starts … started games at four of the five offensive line positions, excluding center … owns starts at right tackle (9), left tackle (8), right guard (8) and left guard (3) in his career … moved into the starting rotation in his fourth collegiate game as a true freshman in 2019. Bedford was injured in the first game of the 2022 season missing the entire year.
