Mario Cristobal delivered some positive injury news regarding his team during his Monday press conference.
Noah Sewell, Mykael Wright, and DJ Johnson will all be available to play in Friday’s Pac-12 title game against Utah, Cristobal said.
“Noah, DJ, and Mykael are all good to go for this week,” Cristobal said.
That’s massive news for the Ducks. Sewell and Wright are both defensive cornerstones who are nearly irreplaceable, and Johnson is a valuable asset both at tight end and defensive end.
Sewell and Wright both left the Oregon State game with injuries and did not return. Johnson has been sidelined for the past few weeks with an undisclosed injury.

The only player Cristobal went out of his way to mention who may not be available is freshman linebacker Keith Brown, who missed the Oregon State game after being tabbed as “doubtful” earlier in the week.
“He’ll be a game-time decision,” Cristobal said. “It’s gonna be close.”
Freshman defensive tackle Keyon Ware-Hudson will also not be available for the Ducks. He has been a nailed-on starter for Oregon all season but is dealing with numerous injuries at the moment.
Ware-Hudson was not in uniform for the Ducks last Saturday and was seen walking on crutches pregame.
