Ducks Set to Host DB Transfer
Oregon will likely need at least one or two bodies in the secondary via the transfer portal. One could argue specifically at safety.
The Ducks will host one of its safety targets this weekend with Kansas State transfer Kobe Savage expected. On3’s Pete Nakos first reported the visit which ScoopDuck later confirmed. It will be an official visit for the 5-foot-10, 205-pounder. He will also visit Washington this weekend Nakos reports.
Savage recorded 115 tackles and six interceptions in 22 games in two seasons with K-State. Oregon will return starter Tysheem Johnson who transferred from Ole Miss last year. But there remains a need for help at safety with the Ducks also graduating Steve Stephens and Evan Williams running out of eligibility.
Savage is not the only defensive back in the transfer portal Oregon is targeting. To keep up with the latest stick to ScoopDuck on all of those developments on what looks to be a strong final weekend ahead of the early signing period.
