Ducks Trending for a Pair of Transfers
Over the weekend Oregon hosted two transfer portal targets. And both have since been predicted in favor of the Ducks.
On Monday, On3’s Pete Nakos made a prediction for Oregon to land Florida State wide receiver transfer Malik Benson. As you’ll recall Benson took an official visit to Oregon this weekend. He also recently listed a top three including the Ducks along with Kansas State and Tennessee.
If you missed it, we had an update on Benson posted Sunday that could also add some more clarity to this recruitment.
Last season Benson posted 311 yards and 1 touchdown in the Seminoles offense. The Noles offense was a bit sluggish all season especially in the passing game. The Ducks continue to wait on potential decisions by Evan Stewart and Gary Bryant Jr. at wide receiver.

Along with this prediction, Tulane running back transfer Makhi Hughes was also predicted to Oregon by Nakos. We also had an update on Hughes Sunday outlining this potential decision.
Hughes becomes a very key part of this transfer portal haul with Jordan James officially declaring for the NFL draft. The Ducks could use a veteran piece like Hughes in the running back room. A formal decision from Noah Whittington is also expected soon.
Hughes posted some big numbers at Tulane with a 1,401 yard season and 15 touchdowns.
