Elite Point Guard Tay Kinney Schedules Oregon Official Visit

Dana Altman might be looking for the next leader of his offense with Jackson Shelstad considering only one more season at Oregon.
It would appear Altman has his eye on four-star point guard Tay Kinney. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder is the No. 18 ranked player nationally and No. 3 ranked point guard in the On3 Industry Rankings for 2026. Kinney plays at Overtime Elite.

The four-star is set to take an official visit to Oregon on September 6. Our Collin King was able to confirm the visit.
Oregon currently has the No. 3 ranked class for 2026 nationally because of Kendre Harrison. The two-way star plays football and basketball at a high level. The Ducks do not have a dedicated basketball-only commit yet in the 2026 class.
Louisville, Kentucky and others are also involved in his recruitment.
