Five Oregon Ducks earn all-Pac-12 softball honors
As the Oregon softball program sets its sights on the postseason, five of the Ducks’ players have received all-conference honors after the Pac-12 announced its year-end awards Wednesday.
Fifth-year second baseman Allee Bunker was a first-team all-conference selection and also landed on the all-defensive team. She led the Ducks with a .404 average, 52 RBI, 12 doubles, and also hit 10 home runs. In addition to her offensive contributions, she boasts a .970 fielding percentage with 91 assists and has turned 11 double plays.
This marks the fourth-time Bunker has received all-conference honors.
Senior catcher Terra McGowan also received first-team all-Pac-12 honors and was named to the all-defensive team. She led the Ducks with 12 homers and ranked fifth in the conference with a .331 average and 49 RBI.
McGowan has a 1.000 fielding percentage in 224 chances. She has thrown out 11 would-be base stealers, which ranks second in the conference.
Senior pitcher Morgan Scott earned second-team all-conference honors. This season, she is 12-5 with a 2.51 ERA and has struck out 77 batters while walking just 16.
Scott is tied for the conference lead with six saves and her walks-per-7.0 innings rate of 1.03 is the best in the conference.
Sophomore outfielder Hanna Delgado earned third-team all-conference honors. She is hitting .338 with a .421 on-base percentage and has committed just one error in 67 chances.
Sophomore shortstop Paige Sinicki made the Pac-12 all-defensive team. She leads the Ducks with 104 assists and boasts a .944 fielding percentage.

No. 17 Oregon (35-14, 14-10 Pac-12) opens Pac-12 Tournament play on Thursday against No. 7 Stanford at 6:30 p.m. in Tucson, Ariz. The game will air on Pac-12 Network.
The Ducks dropped their regular season finale, 2-0, to Utah on Sunday and suffered a series sweep at the hands of the Utes.
“I think we just keep playing, we just have to keep playing,” Oregon coach Melyssa Lombardi said following Saturday’s loss. “We just have to work through it and I think we will. I’m confident in this team and I’m confident in everything that we’ve done all year long and my money is on us.”
During Sunday’s loss, the Ducks honored their five seniors — Kyla Morris, Karissa Ornelas, Katelyn Howard, Bunker and McGowan — at Jane Sanders Stadium.
“It’s bittersweet,” Lombardi said of the program’s senior day. “Obviously, we still have things to do here, we’re not done. But to know that this is their last year with us and know that they came in when I came in, I just appreciate them, and I appreciate everything they have done on and off the field for this program.
“I appreciate the legacy, the culture, the leadership, and everything that they brought to Oregon softball.”
