Five-Star OT Kadyn Proctor Visiting Oregon
A big weekend gets even bigger for Dan Lanning and his staff. Not only are the Huskies in town, so are some five-star recruits.
ScoopDuck: Five Most Likely to Commit
On Saturday, news has hit of another five-star visitor in town for an official visit.
Southeast Polk (Iowa) offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor has been confirmed in Eugene, Oregon. The 6-foot-6, 330-pounder has been committed to Iowa since June 30. At the time, Oregon was considered the biggest threat to the Hawkeyes for his commitment.
Proctor is the nation’s No. 10 ranked player nationally per the On3 Consensus Rankings. He is the No. 2 ranked offensive tackle in that same ranking.
The elite big man has every national offer to his credit. Alabama, Notre Dame, every school has targeted the elite tackle in 2023 recruiting class short on offensive linemen depth.

Oregon has added several high-upside offensive line commits. However Proctor would be a massive addition for the Ducks.
On3 ranks Oregon as the No. 11 class nationally and top-ranked class in the Pac-12 conference. The Ducks have 22 verbal commits.
Scouting Report:
Wide, physically-developed offensive tackle who excels as a mauling run blocker. Dominant at the point of attack, using strong and quick hands to neutralize opposing defensive linemen. Plays with a nasty mentality as a block finisher, planting defensive linemen in the ground with regularity. Moves well and shows his athleticism as a defensive lineman. Does not appear to have high-end length for an offensive tackle and tends to lunge at times in his pass set.
