Johnson, an American Fork, Utah, native, averaged 2.4 points and 1.1 rebounds per game in a reserve role for the Ducks last season. 247Sports tabbed him as the No. 94 overall player in the class of 2019, and he held offers from Gonzaga, Utah, and BYU, among many others out of high school.
Johnson will have three years of eligibility remaining.
The Ducks, who also saw big-man Franck Kepnang enter the transfer portal this offseason, are set to return starting center N’Faly Dante, as well as former 5-star signee Nate Bittle. Oregon is also adding 5-star signee Kel’el Ware, a 7-foot center who is the No. 11 overall player in the class of 2022.
