Former Oregon starting cornerback DJ James has found the next stop in his college career.

James announced Sunday that he has committed to Auburn.

James started at boundary cornerback for the Ducks last season and recorded 46 tackles two interceptions, and four pass breakups before opting to transfer away from the program prior to the Alamo Bowl.

James becomes the second former Oregon player to commit to Auburn since Mario Cristobal’s departure. Defensive tackle Jayson Jones has also committed to the Tigers.

A Spanish Fort, Ala., native, James was a three-star signee and the No. 619 overall recruit in the class of 2019.

Since James announced in December that he was leaving Oregon, the Ducks have since added former Colorado starting cornerback Christian Gonzalez by way of the transfer portal.
