Scherr was part of a large exodous of players who left Oregon’s program after the 2021-22 season concluded with a first-round NCAA tournament loss to Belmont. In a span of three hours on March 28, Nyara Sabally entered the WNBA Draft, and Scherr, Sydney Parrish, and Kylee Watson all entered the transfer portal.
Since then guards Chanaya Pinto and Taylor Bigby have also left the program.
Oregon added former Arizona State guard Taya Hanson via the transfer this offseason and is also bringing in a loaded recruiting class that features two 5-stars and two 4-stars.
