Former Oregon guard De'Vion Harmon commits to Texas Tech
De’Vion Harmon is headed back to his home state to continue his college career.
Harmon, a starting guard for the Ducks last season, announced on Thursday that he has committed to Texas Tech.
Harmon, a Denton, Texas native entered the transfer portal earlier this week. After transferring in from Oklahoma last season, Harmon started 34 games for the Ducks during the 2021-22 season and averaged 10.8 points, 2.1 assists, and 2.6 rebounds in 31.5 minutes per game while shooting .415 from the field.
He becomes the second former Oregon player to announce his transfer destination in as many days after Franck Kepnang announced Wednesday that he has committed to Washington.
Harmon, who will be a fourth-year junior next season, will either need to leave Oregon as a grad transfer or receive a waiver granting him immediate eligibility since this is his second time transferring.
