Former Oregon receiver Johnny Johnson III is headed to Houston.

Johnson III, who spent five productive seasons at Oregon, has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans, according to a report from James Crepea of The Oregonian/OregonLive.

A former three-star recruit from Oregon’s 2017 signing class, Johnson III emerged as an immediate contributor for the Ducks and went on to have a productive career over the next half-decade.

In 2021, Johnson III caught 25 passes for 311 yards and one touchdown in 10 games. Before Oregon’s season-altering loss at Utah, Johnson III suffered a foot injury that ended his season.
