Former Oregon Safety Lands with NFL Team
The Cleveland Browns announced the signing of former Oregon safety Brady Breeze on Wednesday. Here is the announcement from the Browns official website of the signing.
“The Cleveland Browns have signed S Brady Breeze. To make room on the roster, the team waived K Lucas Havrisik.
Breeze (6-0, 205) is officially in his second NFL season out of Oregon. Originally drafted by Tennessee in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Breeze has appeared in 11 games with the Titans (2021) and the Lions (2021-22). Last season, he spent time on both the Seahawks’ and the Texans’ practice squads. He participated in the Browns’ 2024 rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.“
After signing with Oregon as a part of its 2016 recruiting class, Breeze played for Oregon until his junior season in 2019. Breeze’s career was capped off by an incredible Rose Bowl performance resulting in being the games defensive MVP.
