Four Oregon Ducks Land on Outland and Nagurski Watch Lists

DALLAS — Oregon football has two student-athletes each on the Outland Trophy and Bronko Nagurski Trophy preseason watch lists released by the Football Writers Association of America on Tuesday morning.
Left tackle T.J. Bass and center Alex Forsyth are among 89 players on the preseason watch list for the Outland Trophy, presented annually to the top interior lineman in the country.

Defensive end Brandon Dorlus and linebacker Noah Sewell represent Oregon on the 85-player Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list. The Nagurski Trophy is given to the national defensive player of the year.
Penei Sewell – Noah’s older brother – is the lone Duck to win the Outland Trophy (2019). In 2021, Kayvon Thibodeaux became Oregon’s first Nagurski Trophy finalist since Haloti Ngata in 2005.
