On3’s No. 229 prospect in the 2025 class, Aaron Dunn, is set to commit August 8th. The finalists for the Spanish Fork (Utah.) talent are: in-state BYU, Oregon, UCLA, USC, and in-state Utah. Out of those five, Oregon, USC, and Utah believe they have the best chances for Dunn, the second highest ranked prospect in Utah this cycle. Oregon has been pushing for the 6’7 288-pound offensive tackle, but it appears to be a bit late for the No. 19 offensive tackle in the class. My prediction at this time is Utah, as we get closer to the commitment I may put out a prediction in the Utes favor.

Offensive Line Recruiting

Oregon has continued to build in the trenches, despite having a slower cycle on the defensive side. At the moment, Oregon holds verbal commitments from three Offensive Lineman in the 2025 class, Ziyare Addison, Alai Kalaniuvalu, and Demetri Manning. Oregon still has a few targets remaining including five-star Michael Fasusi, who Oregon found themselves on a shortlist for. The Lewisville (Tex.) product holds one prediction to Texas, by InsideTexas’ Eric Nahlin. The nation’s No. 33 offensive tackle and three-star Austin Pay is also a prospect considering Oregon at this time. In the past, Oregon had been mentioned as pushing for the American Fork (Utah.) talent. On the interior, Oregon is still heavily in the mix for the No. 14 IOL in the class, Juan Gaston. Gaston has a decision date for August 2nd and is considering Georgia, Oregon, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The intel still seems to suggest Georgia but Oregon and Tennessee have certainly closed the gap.
