Four-Star ATH Aaron Butler Visiting Oregon
Things are ramping up in Eugene. We’ve got Spring ball back and the Ducks will look to capitalize on that with visitors.
One of those key visitors this week will be Calabasas (Calif.) athlete/wide receiver Aaron Butler. The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder is one of the top players in the country, checking in at No. 81 overall in the On3 Industry Rankings.
Butler is one of the few key targets in this 2024 class for Oregon. He’s got his choice of every school in the country but is currently focused on five. Georgia, Colorado, Washington and Alabama make up that current five.
Right now Georgia seems to be the team to beat with a 96% chance at landing Butler per the On3 RPM.
Butler told On3’s Chad Simmons what he’s excited to see at Oregon starting Thursday.
“I am going to spend the weekend up there and get to meet coach (Will) Stein and hang out with coach (Junior) Adams and coach (Dan) Lanning,” Butler told On3 about his trips to the Ducks. “Coach Lanning was at my school to check on me in January and I know he really wants me… Oregon is recruiting me hard and I want to really see what they are all about on this next visit.”

Following his trip to Eugene, the four-star will take an official visit to Georgia on the 15th then Colorado on the 22nd.
Butler originally planned on committing in July and then moved it up to April. Now no date has been set ahead of these trips he told Simmons.
