Four-Star DL Jayden Wayne Set to Visit Oregon

The list keeps growing. And it’s littered with elite defensive targets.
Shortly after 5-Star Matayo Uiagelelei announced he’d be visiting Oregon this weekend, another elite defensive lineman announced his visit plans.
Lincoln (Wash.) defensive lineman Jayden Wayne will also visit Oregon, joining a pretty insane list. The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder is the No. 26 ranked player nationally in the On3 Consensus rankings.
This is at least his third visit on the Oregon campus under the new coaching staff. Under Mario Cristobal, Wayne was also a top priority and logged several visits as well.
From his last visit, our own Reid Tingley and Jonathan Charles got a few thoughts from Wayne on meeting the new staff.

“I spent a lot of time with coach Tosh Lupoi and learned a lot of new football techniques. The staff they put together is crazy. They have a lot of experience.”
A big part of the staff’s introduction was continuing a connection with new Oregon head coach Dan Lanning, who was already his primary recruiter at Georgia.
“Lanning and I have a great relationship,” he said, “and I trust him a lot. I loved talking football. That was my favorite part.”
Currently Oregon leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with 38-percent. Miami is running second at 23-percent with USC at No. 3 with 12-percent.
Jayden Wayne is coming off a visit to USC and will have a busy Spring taking multiple trips.
