Four-Star EDGE Jayden Wayne Sets Oregon Official Visit
One of the top players in the 2023 class is just North of Eugene. Tacoma (Wash.) Lincoln EDGE Jayden Wayne is the No. 30 ranked player in the country per the On3 Consensus Rankings. He’s the No. 4 ranked EDGE nationally.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder has been a top target of the Ducks since Dan Lanning’s arrival. Which carried over from the Mario Cristobal-era at Oregon as well.
Wayne told me (Via DM) he has set his official visit to Oregon for June 24. His first official visit is set for Georgia on May 20.
Currently Oregon has the slight edge in his recruitment per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Oregon leads at 42% with Alabama very close behind at 37%.
Wayne was at Oregon’s Spring game a few weeks ago. He told ScoopDuck’s Dominiqk Peterson it was a tremendous atmosphere.
