Four-Star RB Christian Clark Names Top Five
Oregon has hit the state of Arizona hard under Dan Lanning. It started with Mario Cristobal late in his time at Oregon however Lanning has expanded on those efforts.
The latest target is Mountain Pointe (Ariz.) running back Christian Clark. The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder is the No. 269 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 21 ranked running back nationally.
On Thursday the four-star announced a top five group including: Oregon, Alabama, Florida State, Georgia and Texas. The On3 RPM currently has Texas in the lead with 79% chance to land Clark.
Here is why Oregon made the cut for the talented back.
“I know the running backs that they got now, they’re all gonna go to the league. I don’t know what round, but they’re gonna get drafted. When I was there, I got on the phone with LaMichael James. He’s a cool person. When I was younger, I always watched De’Anthony Thomas highlights. That was one of my favorite players growing up.”

The Ducks currently do not have a running back committed in the 2024 cycle. Carlos Locklyn has the Ducks on the short list for several of the nation’s top running backs including Clark.
Clark will take his official visit to Oregon starting on June 9. He will also take officials to Florida State (June 2), Texas (June 16) and Georgia (June 23).
