Four-Star TE Ryner Swanson Announces Top Five
Oregon has a pair of tight ends committed but that hasn’t kept them from recruiting more. One of the names we’ve mentioned to keep tabs on is Laguna Beach (Calif.) tight end Ryner Swanson.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder is the No. 333 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s one of the top tight ends out West in a rather shallow position group for 2024.
Swanson announced his top five on Thursday. Oregon made the cut along with BYU, Texas A&M, Utah and Texas. Right now the Ducks are favored in the ON3 RPM at 36% chance. However Texas is very close behind the Ducks at 31%.
Swanson has official visits lined up to Texas on June 1 and Oregon on June 9.
He’s been listed in Jhop’s Ultimate 25 as one of the tight ends to watch for in 2024.
