Four-Star Tight End Da'Saahn Brame Commits to Oregon
2025 Derby (Kan.) tight end DaSaahn Brame has committed to Oregon. He chose the Ducks from a top group that also included the Tennessee Volunteers, the Oklahoma Sooners and the Ole Miss Rebels.
Brame checks in at 6’4.5″, 225 pounds and is rated a four-star (91.00) prospect according to On3. The same system ranks him the No. 184 player nationally, the No. 10 tight end and the No. 4 recruit in Kansas.
Prior to choosing the green and yellow Brame took official visits to LSU, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Oregon and Tennessee.
The Kansas product is the first tight end commit for Drew Mehringer and Oregon this cycle, joining fellow offensive playmakers like five-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson, wide receiver Cooper Perry and running back Dierre Hill Jr. among others.

Tight end has been a position of need for Oregon this recruiting cycle, as the Ducks are set to lose starting tight end duo Terrance Ferguson and Patrick Herbert following the 2024 season. Drew Mehringer has signed a trio of tight ends since joining the Oregon coaching staff in Kenyon Sadiq (Skyline ’23), Roger Saleapaga (Orem ’24) and A.J. Pugliano (North Medford ’24).
With Brame committed and in the fold the Ducks are still in the mix for two other tight ends in the 2025 recruiting class. Goodland (Kan.) star Linkon Cure is set to make his college commitment on Monday July 1, and El Dorado Hills (Calif.) Oak Ridge tight end Kaleb Edwards is set to make his decision in the opening weeks of July. Both prospects took official visits to Oregon this month.
