The class of 2023 just got a little bigger for Dan Lanning and his staff Monday night. Oregon landed a big commitment from Valley Christian (Calif.) wide receiver Jurrion Dickey moments ago.
Dickey is the No. 86 ranked player in the 2023 class per the On3 Consensus Rankings. The 6-foot-2, 207-pounder is the No. 13 ranked wide receiver nationally.
Dickey has been on Oregon’s campus several times this year and was most notably in town for the Spring game on April 23.

Jurrion Dickey is not the first wide receiver Junior Adams has closed at Oregon this year. The Ducks also snagged Williams Field (Ariz.) wide receiver Kyler Kasper in April. However Kasper reclassified to the 2022 class and signed with the Ducks.
Oregon only has three commits in the 2023 class to date. So far Dan Lanning and his staff have made headlines by finishing the 2022 class as strong as anyone nationally. Additionally the Ducks have been finding talent via the transfer portal as well which technically counts towards the 2022 class.
Dickey picked Oregon over UCLA, Penn State, USC and Washington from his final group.
Jurrion Dickey Scouting Summary
Physical, productive receiver with a well-rounded skill set. Owns a thick, filled out build, checking in at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds prior to his junior season. Also has long arms with a 6-foot-6 wing-span, which manifests in a large catch radius. Strong in every facet. Bullies wide receivers off the line and at the top of his routes. Attacks the ball at the catch point and shows strong, reliable hands. Tough to bring down after the catch. Has good play speed and clocked a sub-4.6 second 40-yard dash prior to his junior season. Highly productive as a junior against some of the best competition in Northern California with 1,304 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns. Also plays defense. Shines in competitive situations. Was the top receiver at The Opening Finals prior to his junior season. Younger for the class and won’t turn 18 years old until he’s enrolled in college.
