In approximately 24 hours, college football will make its long-awaited return to Eugene. The No. 15 Oregon Ducks are set to open their season against the Portland State Vikings at Autzen Stadium Saturday at noon PT. After months of anticipation, we'll get our first look at Oregon's re-vamped roster. Ahead of Dan Lanning's second season at the helm of the program, expectations are understandably high for a team that boasts a Heisman Trophy candidate at quarterback, a star-studded surrounding offensive cast, and a defense stocked with talented veterans. For this week's column, I thought it would be worth taking a look at which players could potentially take Oregon's season from good to great. Without further ado, here are five Ducks who could potentially raise the ceiling of Oregon's season.
