Hoops Transfer Target Jermaine Couisnard Sets Commitment

Dana Altman continues what feels like an overhaul of this men’s basketball program. He’s been white hot on the recruiting trail while a number of players have entered the portal to move on.
It would appear he might be set to bring in another transfer piece potentially.
South Carolina combo guard Jermaine Couisnard entered the transfer portal about a month ago. The 6-foot-4, 211-pounder has been widely regarded as one of the top guards in the transfer market.
Couisnard will announce a decision on Thursday at Noon (PST) among Oregon, Gonzaga, Maryland, Ohio State and others.
Oregon also announced the hiring of former South Carolina assistant Chuck Martin on April 8. That connection seems to have made the Ducks the team to beat for Couisnard.

While Oregon fans continue to wait on the decision of Will Richardson, it would appear Couisnard is set to make his choice.
Earlier this week Oregon also got good news from N’Faly Dante announcing he would return next season.
