Key Quotes

Oregon coach Dan Lanning when asked if he regrets his previous comments regarding Colorado

“I don’t regret anything that I’ve said for this program. At the end of the day, obviously, I wasn’t talking about Deion’s team. I was talking about the past and future for our team. If that serves as material for them, great. I don’t think it’s gonna have any bearing on the game and the success of the game.”

Lanning on Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders

“I think he’s just he’s absolutely grown as a player, right? He’s a guy that makes it tick for them on offense. He’s operating at a really high level. Like I said before, Sean Lewis has done a phenomenal job with that offense. He creates a lot of issues, and he has him playing at a really high level as well.”

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix on Colorado DB Shiloh Sanders

“He does a good job. He’s always in the right spot. You know, he does a really good job making open-field tackles. He does a really good job when the ball is in the air. He does obviously a good job in man-to-man — he’s a good safety. I anticipate him being all over the field, making a lot of impactful plays for them.”

Colorado coach Deion Sanders on star WR/CB Travis Hunter being sidelined with an injury

“There’s no one in the country that can fill Travis Hunter’s shoes. He’s a unique player. He’s the best player on offense and he’s the best player on defense — in the country, not just on this team.”
