Jhop Predicts: Ducks to Land Bama Transfer Khyree Jackson

Demetrice Martin and the Oregon defensive identified to get immediate help in the secondary. And the best way to do that is to work the transfer portal.
Former Alabama defensive back Khyree Jackson entered the transfer portal on the day it opened, December 5. Jackson became a big name on the recruiting trail pulling in some big offers with Oregon, Penn State and Kentucky being a few of them.
On Friday, Jackson announced a final two of Oregon and Kentucky with a decision set for Sunday. A specific time has not been set.
Earlier this week I posted my thoughts on where Oregon stood with Jackson coming out of his visit. I expected him to take another visit or two but felt Oregon led coming out of the weekend.

Today I’m making my prediction in favor of the Ducks. The opportunity to play early and the strong efforts of this defensive staff being two big factors. Additionally Oregon is one of the best programs in the country in terms of NIL for its current student-athletes.
I’m locking in with a 80% prediction for Oregon on Jackson.
The plan is for Jackson to come in and play one year and get him into the early NFL rounds consideration like Christian Gonzalez did this past season.
The 6-foot-3, 197-pounder has elite measurables.
Expect Oregon to stay active in the transfer portal at multiple positions. And Jackson likely won’t be the last defensive back Oregon takes in this class.
