An intriguing week of college football in the Pac with only one real upset. Dilly pulled off a stunner over UCLA which potentially could have sealed Chip’s fate.

Here are my updated rankings based on last weeks performances. Again these are power/eyeball rankings. And as such I’m having a real tough time not putting Oregon at No. 1. But I’ll stick to the rules.

  1. Washington – Can’t wait to see this Oregon State game this weekend. Should be a good one.
  2. Oregon – Wanted a little bigger win the score column last week but a win is a win.
  3. Oregon State – Can they get it done? At home, Washington coming to town. Quite the buzz in Corvallis this week.
  4. Arizona – Being overshadowed this weekend is another terrific matchup, the Cats and Utes. I’m gonna be on my couch all day watching football.
  5. Utah – A chance to move up this week with a win over Arizona. Should be a good one though.
  6. USC – Hard to ding them too much for the loss to Oregon. We’ve kind of hit a point in the season where this starts the second tier of the conference.
  7. UCLA – Only a couple more games Chip. Why not end your UCLA run with a win over USC this weekend?
  8. Colorado – They’re a little better with Travis Hunter back. But still have so many holes.
  9. ASU – That was a good win for Dilly beating Chip. It’s going to be real tough to capture lightning in a bottle twice like that.
  10. Cal – Moved them up ahead of Wazzu this week who has only one win in the Pac-12 conference.
  11. Wazzu – Playing for conference win No. 2 this week over Colorado.
  12. Stanford – It’s almost over Stanford.
