It sounds as though Oregon starting guard Maddie Scherr will be a game-time decision for the Ducks in their opening game of the Pac-12 tournament.
Scherr suffered a leg injury in last week’s loss at Colorado and did not play in Saturday’s regular season finale at Utah.
Oregon coach Kelly Graves met with reporters Wednesday ahead of Oregon’s first-round matchup and said he still is uncertian if Scherr will be able to go for the Ducks in las Vegas.
“I don’t know, I stay out of the training room. Shes been limited at practice,” Graves said. “Really hasn’t done any full contact. So even if she does play, she’s not gonna be at 100 percent.”
Scherr has been the Ducks’ best peremiter defender this season and started the first 28 games of the year before missing the Utah game. She was tabbed as a Pac-12 all-defense honorable mention selection earlier this week.

Sedona Prince started in palce of Scherr on Saturday, and Ahlise Hurst saw an uptick in minutes at the guard spot.
Oregon is scheudled to tip off at Michelob ULTRA Arena at 6 p.m. Thursday and will face the winner of tonight’s matchup between UCLA and USC.
“(Scherr) is tough, man, I’ll tell you,” Graves said. “She wants to play. If she can play, she’s gonna get out there, and if we get the OK, we’re gonna paly her.”
