About the Award
“The Broyles Award is a celebration of bonds: between coach and team, between head and assistant coaches, and between coaches, both active and retired, across the country. This bond was so essential to the original vision for the Broyles Award that founder David Bazzel and Coach Broyles integrated it into the trophy itself by featuring Wilson Mathews. We are honored and thrilled to say this is our 27th Anniversary. We want to thank all the people and companies who have made this award what it is today. We could not have done it without you, and I hope you take pride in knowing what you have built. We are excited to announced that the 26th Anniversary will once again be an in-person, two-day event in Little Rock, Arkansas. We cannot wait to see everyone in person again, and to celebrate excellence in assistant coaching together. Your support of this event allows us to provide resources to Alzheimer’s dementia caregivers at no cost, and unites us in a common mission of celebrating the legacy of Coach Broyles. On behalf of the Broyles Award team and Broyles Family, thank you for your continued, unwavering support.”
