Dan Lanning has moved quickly on two transfer portal targets already. It would appear he might be closing in on a third with a mid-week visit expected for one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the transfer portal.

Moments ago On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported Nevada offensive tackle Isaiah World is down to three schools. Along with Oregon he is considering Texas A&M and Nebraska.

The 6-foot-8, 320-pounder is the No. 43 ranked player in the On3 transfer portal rankings. World however has been one of the top early names at a key position with very few upper-end prospects.

The veteran offensive tackle originally played his high school ball at San Diego’s Lincoln high school. Oregon quarterback signee Akili Smith Jr also plays at Lincoln as have other Oregon players.

The Ducks are currently working on several offensive line targets in the transfer portal.
