Oregon has come off a busy few weeks of hosting official visitors. Dan Lanning and his staff hosted some of the nation’s elite talent.

While the Ducks have 16 verbal commitments and top 10 recruiting class, many fans are asking for more commitments.

***Prediction TwosDay: Oregon Recruiting Predictions***

It looks like you won’t have to wait much longer. Some of Oregon’s top recruiting targets are set to come off the board in July and I’m confident there will be more added to this list.

As of today, here is a look at those targets Oregon is in the mix for and the commitment date.

ICYMI, last week I dropped my next five to commit update when only one commitment date had been set.

July 1

4-Star OT Jac’Qawn McRoy

Current On3 RPM: Oregon 95.6%

Jhop’s Prediction: Oregon (April 18)

Commitment: 247Sports YouTube — 2:30 PM PST

Not really anything to add here. I jumped in early with a prediction to Oregon back in April following an earlier unofficial visit to Oregon. McRoy was a part of that final official visit weekend for Oregon in late June that really cemented where the Ducks stood. A couple other predictions joined me with On3 soon after with a number of new ones popping up on 247Sports the last few days.

If I was making a new prediction today I would bump my original 75% confidence in Oregon up to 90.

July 3

3-Star RB Da’Jaun Riggs

Current On3 RPM: Oregon 95.8%

Jhop’s Prediction: Oregon (June 26)

Commitment: TBD

Right now I have the lone pick with On3 and a new pick just popped up on 247Sports earlier this morning. I said as much earlier this month, Oregon really likes Riggs and prioritized him despite his ranking. His visit in late June really cemented where the Ducks stood in his recruitment and with an immediate commitment following, Oregon looks like they are in great shape here.

I’m good with my 85% prediction from earlier this week.

July 6

4-Star EDGE Elijah Rushing

Current On3 RPM: Oregon 70.5%

Jhop’s Prediction: Oregon (March 8)

Commitment: 247Sports YouTube — 2 PM PST

Well we’re in familiar territory. Your boy Jhop is once again alone on an island with the only pick on Rushing currently. I went bold with a very early pick back in early March and have never wavered. Although there have been a number of contenders for Rushing at different times, the one constant has always been Oregon.

I would not be surprised to see a flood of Oregon picks following in the coming week.

July 6

3-Star CB Miles Lockhart

Current On3 RPM: Ohio State 97%

Jhop’s Prediction: None

Commitment: TBD

I don’t really have a lot to add here but figured it’s worth mentioning. Lockhart did unofficially visit Oregon this Spring, has a very tight relationship with Demetrice and Cole Martin. But he didn’t take an official visit to Eugene in June so I don’t see that working out well for the Ducks.

July 10

4-Star LB Kamar Mothudi

Current On3 RPM: Oregon 95.6%

Jhop’s Prediction: Oregon (March 8)

Commitment: TBD

Keeping with the theme so far. I’ve got Oregon pegged here from a very early prediction again in March. Like McRoy listed above, I think the Ducks have been the team to beat since a big unofficial visit. There are a pair of picks on 247Sports as well coming about a month ago.

The only thing I’d change if I were making a prediction today would be going from 70% to 90%.

Sept. 4

4-Star LB Brayden Platt

Current On3 RPM: Oregon 83.7%

Jhop’s Prediction: Oregon (June 22)

Commitment: TBD

Here I am, alone again. The only pick for Platt is mine from last week to Oregon. And I won’t pretend I’m totally confident on that one especially given his commitment is more than a month out. Oklahoma is not out of this race by any means but I’ll stick with my pick because I trust in Dan Lanning’s ability to close on many of his top targets out West.
