Live updates: Oregon baseball vs. Louisville
Oregon baseball will be in win-or-go-home mode on Sunday — and possibly for two consecutive games.
The Ducks, who are the No. 2 seed at the NCAA tournament Louisville Regional, will aim to extend their season Sunday morning when they face No. 1 seed and regional host Lousiville in an elimination game at 9 a.m. PT.
The game is set to air on ACC Network.
Oregon reached this point by way of a blowout win over Southeast Missouri State on Saturday. The Ducks topped the Redhawks 18-6 while tallying 26 hits — the most ever by a Pac-12 team in a postseason game. That result sent the Southeast Missouri State home and extended Oregon’s season for at least one more day.
Louisville, meanwhile, beat the Redhawks 7-2 on Friday but fell 7-3 to No. 3-seeded Michigan Saturday evening.

Now, the Cardinals and the Ducks will both be playing with their seasons on the line this morning.
Oregon can take some extra confidence in the fact that Louisville, the No. 7 team in the country, deployed its ace, Jared Poland, on Saturday and he was hit hard by the Wolverines. He will not be available on Sunday, and pitching depth is not necessarily the strength of the Cardinals.
The Ducks will turn to right-hander Jace Stoffal, who is 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA on the year. The Cardinals are starting right-hander Carson Ligget, who is 2-0 with a 4.71 ERA this season.
