Nation's No. 1 Ranked EDGE Colin Simmons Sets Oregon Visit
Oregon has the attention of many of the top-ranked recruits in the country. And that is across multiple recruiting classes.
It’s early, but the Ducks are going to get a visit from Duncanville (Texas) EDGE Colin Simmons. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder is the top-ranked EDGE in the 2024 class and the top-ranked player from the state of Texas.

On Friday he announced via social media he’ll take an unofficial visit to Oregon in late July. Which seemingly confirms the return of Oregon’s premier recruiting event, Saturday Night Live.
Simmons is the nation’s No. 13 ranked player in the nation, per the On3 Consensus Rankings.
Currently Oklahoma leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine at 88%. The Sooners along with Texas and Texas A&M are the most frequently mentioned schools in his recruitment to date.
This will be his first trip to Oregon.
