Nation's No. 1 Recruit Visiting Oregon for Spring Game
The Ducks will certainly roll out the red carpet next weekend for fans and visiting recruits. On Saturday Oregon will hopefully see a packed Autzen crowd as they play this year’s Spring game.
There will be a VIP in attendance however. Oregon is set to host the No. 1 ranked player in the 2026 recruiting class.
On3’s Steve Wiltfong reports St. Augustine (La.) defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart will be on campus in Eugene. The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder is the No. 1 ranked recruit in the On3 Industry Rankings. Stewart is a five-star with On3, 247Sports and Rivals. This will be at least the second time he’s been at Oregon.
Currently LSU leads the On3 RPM for the in-state star. The Tigers have a 92% chance of landing Stewart at the moment.

Alabama, USC, Georgia and Texas are a few of the other programs in his recruitment. Stewart was in Los Angeles this weekend at USC. Wiltfong caught up with Stewart to talk about that visit.
“Coach Riley, we had a long conversation and his message was what other place has these great resources,” Stewart said. “Coach Riley is chasing greatness. I can see what he’s building with the programs with the new defensive staff and the defense did great in the spring game. They had three picks. He brought in one of the best defensive line coaches in college football in Coach (Eric) Henderson and he got Coach Skyler Jones there.”
There is currently chatter Stewart could reclassify to join the 2025 class.
