New Oregon NIL 'Ducks Rising' Launches

We have entered into a new era in college football, whether we like it or not. Compensation for an athlete’s name, image, and likeness (NIL) is here to stay – in one form or another.
Among other things, NIL platforms offer an opportunity for fans to “crowd-fund” for their school’s student-athletes. The players use the money for any number of things – general living expenses, paying bills back home or putting a little away for a rainy day.
One such collective is Ducks Rising, which launched today. The Ducks Rising looked at what other NIL entities were doing around the country and concluded that fans should have a hub to connect not only with athletes but other fans. That thinking formed the basis of what launched today.

Ducks Rising has announced affiliations with four Oregon football players: Justin Flowe, Jackson Powers-Johnson, DJ Johnson and Dont’e Thornton. The site will offer premium content ranging from video interviews and podcasts to live chats and in-person events.
