Newly-hired Oregon head coach Dan Lanning will coach Georgia through postseason
The Oregon Ducks have found their next head coach in Georgia defensive coordinator Dan Lanning.
The hire is receiving rave reviews from Oregon’s players on social media, and it adds some much-needed stability to a program that was at a crossroads after the departure of Mario Cristobal.
But the Ducks will have to wait a bit before Lanning’s tenure at Georgia officially ends.
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart released a statement Saturday expressing excitement for Lanning and thanking him for his work with the Bulldogs.
