Noah Sewell Named Top Ten LB by On3
Oregon has a college football star on defense.
Last year they had Kayvon Thibodeaux on the EDGE. This year they have Noah Sewell at linebacker.
On3 has been going through the top players in college football by position group. So far, they have yet to list any Oregon Ducks in the top ten on offense, and at EDGE and defensive line.
However Noah Sewell has ended the streak.
On Wednesday Sewell was named the No. 2 linebacker in the nation by On3.
2. Noah Sewell, Oregon
An absolute tackling machine, Sewell has been a vacuum in the middle of the defense for the Ducks. He racked up 106 tackles in 2021 as a second-year player, becoming a Butkus Award semifinalist and first-team Coaches’ All-Pac-12 selection. The former five-star prospect’s NIL valuation is $645,000.
Dan Lanning and his defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi have inherited a tackling machine in the middle of its defense. Sewell will be counted on as a team leader in the locker room and on the field this season.
Sewell was the No. 20 ranked player in the 2020 class per the On3 Consensus Rankings.
