Noah Whittington: "I'm just happy to play football."

Oregon Duck Washingtonby: Justin Hopkins09/25/24

Oregon running back Noah Whittington met with media on Tuesday following practice. It’s clear Whittington is a man of few words from the interview.

Media asked about improvements on special teams and preparing for a late night kickoff in Los Angeles. The Ducks are set to battle the UCLA Bruins at 8 PM local time Saturday night.

Here are a few of his quotes below with the full interview included.

On Special Teams:

“Daily skill. It’s something that we do at the beginning of every practice every day. Just putting those reps in every day it adds up.”

On Rushing Attack Improvements:

“I would say meeting with the O-line more. Seeing the same things. We put an emphasis on running with more pace, being patient, waiting for the hole to open up.”

On O-Line Improvements:

“I feel like no matter who’s in the game from our O-line room, it just takes time, they will get the job done regardless.”

On Late Game Kickoff:

“Early, mid-day, late I’m just happy to play football.”
