It would appear Dana Altman has not only gone national for recruiting he’s going global. The Ducks have reportedly landed a commitment from wing/forward Oleksandr Kobzystyi. Our basketball sources have confirmed this addition and Kobzystyi will play for Oregon this season on scholarship.

Kobzystyi is listed at 6-foot-7 and is expected to play wing at Oregon. His previous experience includes international experience developing for KK Mega in Serbia.

It is currently unclear as to how many years of eligibility he will have at Oregon.

His profile on Proballers.com suggests he has averaged 2.3 points this season. It shows he only played two games in May in the 2024 year.

Here are some of his U20 FIBA highlights from YouTube that were recently published.
