Of that group, Gonzalez has the brightest outlook for the 2023 NFL Draft by a wide distance.
In his most recent mock draft, ESPN’s Todd McShay projected that Gonzalez will be selected No. 6 overall by the Detroit Lions.
In 12 games during the 2022 campaign, Gonzalez recorded 50 tackles, including 35 solo stops, and 1.0 tackles for loss. He hauled in four interceptions and broke up 11 passes. He boosted his stock with a sensational performance at the NFL Combine and finished with a Combine score of 92 that ranked best among all cornerbacks who participated.
Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, Bass, Forsyth, Johnson, and Sewell are all considered by most reputable Draft experts to be selected on either the second or third day of the draft.

Sewell’s total Combine score of 74 ranked eighth among inside linebackers, while Johnson’s score of 69 ranked 19th among EDGE players.
Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, Bass, Forsyth, and Walk were all three-year starters for the Ducks who helped form one of the top offensive lines in the nation last season. While Forsyth is considered the most pro-ready prospect of the bunch, he was dealing with an injury during the NFL Combine that limited his ability during on-field drills.
Forsyth is expected to participate in drills at Oregon’s pro day.
**Oregon’s most intriguing offensive position battles entering 2023**
As we inch closer to spring football, Oregon’s offensive two-deep is beginning to take shape.
The Ducks added a flurry of quality players via the transfer portal during the previous transfer cycle — many of whom will be expected to make an immediate impact. Although Oregon returns six starters on the offensive side of the ball, a few starting jobs will be up for grabs over the next eight months.
Here are three that will be worth keeping tabs on between now and the start of the 2023 season.
