If you didn’t pay much attention to Oregon athletics these past few days you probably missed quite a bit. Yes it’s early March and there isn’t any football just yet. But there are plenty of other sports taking place in college athletics.

I figured it was worth highlighting a few of those events in one location for you to get caught back up.

Oregon Men’s Basketball:

On Saturday the men’s team was able to overcome a slow start against USC to beat the Trojans by more than 20 points. The home game was the fifth straight win for the team as they have seemingly started to find that late season groove.

Oregon has a game with Indiana on Tuesday before its regular season finale on Sunday in Seattle. The Ducks are currently 8th in the Big Ten conference and 21-8 this season.

Oregon Women’s Basketball

The women ended the regular season with a loss to Washington in Seattle. The Big Ten conference tournament starts this week and Oregon is the No. 8 seed facing No. 9 seed Indiana. The game is set for Thursday at 9 AM PST in Indianapolis. It will air on the Big Ten Network.

Oregon Softball:

Did you know the ladies are on a 15-game win streak and are 20-1 on the season? That’s pretty good.

Up Next: Oregon stays at home to host the Jane Sanders Classic. The tournament begins Friday with the first of two matchups against No. 9 Florida State (6 p.m., B1G+). The Ducks will then play Oregon State on Saturday (3:30 p.m.). Oregon will play twice next Sunday – Florida State (2:30 p.m.) and Abilene Christian (5 p.m.). The Jane Sanders Classic concludes with a single game March 10 versus Abilene Christian (10:30 a.m.).

Oregon Baseball:

The boys on the diamond completed a four-game series vs Columbia with a sweep. Including a 35-1 win on Saturday. No, that was not a typo.

The Ducks are now 10-2 on the season but have yet to play a conference opponent. On Monday morning D1baseball.com ranked Oregon as the No. 10 team in the country.

Oregon Track and Field:

This weekend the Oregon men’s and women’s indoor track teams added more hardware to the cabinets. Both won the Big Ten conference championships in indoor track and field. Next up will be the outdoor season which begins later in March. There will be a lot of chances to watch a lot of track at Hayward field this Spring and Summer.
