Oregon center Franck Kepnang announces he has entered the transfer portal
Oregon center Franck Kepnang’s Oregon career has come to a close.
Kepnang, a 6-foot-11 sophomore for the Ducks, announced on Instagram Monday that he has entered the transfer portal.
“After much thought and consideration, I have decided to put my name in the transfer portal,” Kepnang wrote in his post. “I am forever grateful for my time here in Eugene.”
Kepnang served as Oregon’s backup center behind N’Faly Dante this season and provided an energetic presence on both ends of the floor. He averaged 4.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in 14.6 minutes and was named to the all-conference honorable mention defensive team.

He becomes the second Oregon big-man this offseason to enter the transfer portal after Isaac Johnson also elected to do so in March.
Currently, the Ducks are set to return Dante, as well as former 5-star signee Nate Bittle. They have also signed 5-star center Kel’el Ware, the No. 11 overall player No. 2 center in the class of 2022.
