Apparently the Big Ten needed a few days to figure out its own tie-breaking rules. Which is a discussion for another time.
But as a result, Oregon has been declared as one of the guaranteed spots in the Big Ten championship game. The Ducks await their opponent with the next two weeks of the season concluding. Oregon will put its perfect record on the line next week against Washington at home. The result of that game will obviously not impact Oregon’s ability to compete for its first Big Ten championship.

The game is set for Saturday, December 7 at 5 PM PST. The game will take place in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. There have been discussions about moving the game to varying locations in the future. But it remain in Indianapolis until then.
There is a strong potential for Oregon to face Ohio State in a rematch. However this weekend they will play Indiana with the winner likely facing Oregon on December 7. Should Ohio State win out beating Indiana and Michigan, that would almost certainly guarantee No. 1 vs No. 2 in the matchup. Assuming Oregon beats Washington as well.
