Oregon cornerback DJ James has entered transfer portal

Oregon has lost a key defensive starter to the transfer portal.
DJ James, a sophomore cornerback who started 12 games for the Ducks in 2021, has entered his name in the transfer portal according to a report from On3’s Matt Zenitz.
James finished the 2021 season with two interceptions and 46 tackles while playing the majority of his snaps at boundary corner. In Oregon’s win over UCLA, he delivered the game-sealing interception on the Bruins’ final drive of the game.
He missed the first game of the season due to suspension.
James, a Mobile, Alabama native, has not yet announced on social media that he intends to transfer.
