Lately, it’s been two steps forward, one step back for the Oregon Ducks.

Over the weekend, Oregon notched a gritty road win over rival Oregon State in Corvallis, only to turn around two days later and lose to the Beavers at home. In the latest AP Poll, the Ducks’ standing reflects their up-and-down form.

Oregon (16-8, 9-4) did not earn a spot in the AP top-25 for the first time since Jan. 17. After sitting at No. 24 last week, they received 52 votes in Monday’s poll — the most of any team that did not land inside the top-25.

Stanford, which sits at the top of the Pac-12 standings, held strong at No. 2. Once again, No. 1 South Carolina received all 30 first-place votes.

Arizona, which beat Oregon in Tucson on Feb. 4, dropped to No. 8 following its Sunday loss to Arizona State.

The Cardinal and Wildcats are the only Pac-12 teams to crack the top-25 this week — although, the Sun Devils received one vote.

The Ducks will try to get back on track Wednesday when they host UCLA for a non-conference matchup after the Bruins forfeited the originally-scheduled matchup last month due to injury issues within the program. That game will tip-off at 4 p.m. at Matthew Knight Arena.

From there, Oregon will host Cal in Eugene at 7 p.m. Friday, and then will host Stanford Sunday at 1 p.m.
