Oregon Ducks climb into top-10 in latest coaches poll
For the first time this season, the Oregon Ducks find themselves in the top-10 of the USA Today Coaches Poll.
After their Week 7 bye, the Ducks benefited from some losses elsewhere and climbed two spots to No. 9 in Sunday’s updated poll. Oregon has garnered a season-high 1,000 points in the poll, and now sits one spot ahead of UCLA ahead of next week’s highly anticipated showdown between the two programs in Eugene.
The Ducks leapfrogged USC, which lost a Week 7 thriller at Utah, and also moved ahead of Oklahoma State.

Oregon and UCLA are slated to kick off at 12:30 p.m. PT next Saturday in a game that could define both teams’ respective seasons. ESPN’s College Gameday will be on site for the event.
