Oregon Ducks closing in on top-10 recruiting class following lastest commitment
After its latest commitment, the Oregon Ducks are inching closer and closer to cracking the top 10 in the national recruiting rankings.
Late Friday, the Ducks landed a commitment from 3-star offensive lineman Lipe Moala. The Mater Dei (Calif.) standout is the No. 757 player in the class of 2023, according to the On3 Consensus.
As it stands, the Ducks now have 21 commits from the 2023 class after landing Moala and kicker Grant Meadors earlier this week.
The Ducks are knocking on the door of having a top-10 class, and Moala’s commitment helped them gain some ground in that race.

With two 5-stars, nine 4-stars, nine 3-stars, and one unranked player in the fold, the Ducks’ consensus score of 91.621 falls just behind Miami (91.718) for the No. 10 spot. Prior to Moala’s commitment, Oregon’s score was 91.556.
