The Ducks and Buckeyes last played in 2021, a game the Ducks won 35-28 in Columbus behind a dominant rushing performance from Oregon running back CJ Verdell. Both teams have yet to face this level of competition thus far in the 2024 season and Saturday’s contest should tell fans a lot about the kind of playoff run the Ducks and the Buckeyes are capable of making.
This is the biggest Oregon home game since Dan Lanning took over as head coach of the Ducks and a win over the Buckeyes would be a major feather in his cap. The Buckeyes are favored by 3.5 points according to FanDuel.
