The No. 10-ranked Oregon Ducks got their season back on track Saturday and kept their conference title hopes alive.

With a 20-17 win over Utah, Oregon has set the stage for a dramatic regular-season finale and will have a chance to secure a trip to the Pac-12 Championship Game against No. 5 USC.

But first, the Ducks will have to hit the road for one of their trickier matchups of the season.

No. 10 Oregon (9-2, 7-1) and No. 22 Oregon State (8-3, 5-3) will square off next Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Reser Stadium. While the Ducks have the better resume through 12 weeks, the early betting lines would indicate that the rivalry showdown could be a nail-biter.

Vegas Insider tabbed the Ducks as 5.5-point favorites over the Beavers when the line opened on Sunday.

“There’s an awareness obviously of what exists in front of us,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said on Saturday. “We’ve played our best when we’ve focused on what’s next. That was an elite game, all of our focus and attention was on that game. Now it’s going to be on the next one and you worry about the things you can control.

“What we can control is how we go perform against a really good Oregon State team. We’re going to enjoy this one tonight and tomorrow we’ll be hard at work for that.”

This season, the Ducks are 8-3 against the spread. They failed to cover as 16.5-point underdogs in their Week 1 loss to Georiga and as 6.5-point favorites in their Week 4 win over Washington State.

They covered as 27.5-point favorites over Eastern Washington in Week 2, as 3.5-point favorites over BYU in Week 3, as 17.5-point favorites in their Week 5 win over Stanford, as 10.5-point favorites over Arizona in their blowout Week 6 win, as 7-point favorites over UCLA in Week 8, as 16.5-point favorites over Cal in Week 9, and as 31.5-point favorites over Colorado in Week 10.

They failed to cover as 13.5-point favorites in their Week 11 home loss to Washington.

Against the Utes on Saturday, they covered as 1-point underdogs.

Last season, the Ducks notched a 38-29 win over the Beavers in Eugene. But the year prior, Oregon State pulled off one of the more memorable upsets in the history of the rivalry when they topped the No. 15 Ducks, 41-38, in Corvallis.
