Oregon Ducks open as one-score favorite over UCLA Bruins ahead of Week 8 showdown

The Oregon Ducks have opened as narrow favorites over the UCLA Bruins ahead of next Saturday’s marquee showdown between the two programs.

Vegas Insider has tabbed the No. 9 Ducks as 4.5-point favorites over the No. 10 Bruins. Oregon (5-1, 3-0) will have a chance to massively boost its stock when it hosts UCLA (6-0. 3-0) at 12:30 p.m. at Autzen Stadium in Week 8.

ESPN’s College Gameday announced late Saturday that it will be on location in Eugene for the matchup.

This season, the Ducks are 4-2 against the spread. They failed to cover as 16.5-point underdogs in their Week 1 loss to Georiga and as 6.5-point favorites in their Week 4 win over Eastern Washington. They covered as 27.5-point favorites over Eastern Washington in Week 2, as 3.5-point favorites over BYU in Week 3, and as 17.5-point favorites in their Week 5 win over Stanford. They also covered as 10.5-point favorites over Arizona in their blowout Week 6 win.

At the time this article was published, Washington at California is the only other Pac-12 game that Vegas Insider had listed a line for. It has the Huskies tabbed as a 9.5-point favorite over the Golden Bears.
